Just some more work with the macro lense adaptor and stuff outside on the deck, becoming my lunchtime habit to sit out here with the camera, wish some birds would come closer.....

Contrasts

Another experiement outside with DOF and also sort of colors and textures, for some reason I really like the contrast between the sharp in focus and hard bark, and the soft, light colored soft focus of the ground and grass....

Ok, another view of the deck, got to love these nice warm spring days, no bugs yet, but 60's and 70's with good breezes, ahhhhh :)

April 20th

Just Playing around with DOF and some screwdrivers on my decks railing, interesting, but hey, its a nice day out, and gave me an exscuse to sit out on the deck. Heh heh heh :)

Speaking of development, this is one of the new hotels, about 80 rooms, due to open in like 6 weeks, its part of the Hampton Inn chain, also going to have a water park, but I'm not sure how thats coming, so far no signs of it....

Sign of the valley

The growth around here is happening way too quick lately, seems everyone with any commerical land is either building on it, or trying to sell it to someone who will. Among the things planned for the next 6-18 months, a 3rd supermarket, 200+ new hotel rooms, 2 more shopping and retail centers, a new bookstore (Thank God!!!!) and some more chain restaurants (Hopefully a Dennys, or IHOP!!!!)

Spring has Sprung!!!

Woot!!! finally Spring flowers, about time!!!! Love these little yellow flowers, there on some kind of bush small tree thingy, come out every year, I think they're about the first ones each year too!!!

Anyone not see this coming??? LOL, another holiday, so of course Mr. Greenbear had to make an appearance!
One other good thing that can be said is that I have an interview this week, on Friday for a job I applied for last week, so maybe things will start to look up soon!!!!!

Rushed Peep!

Yep, it's Easter weekend, big deal. Here we have a peep, notice I have avoided the traditional color of yellow in favor of a more modern blue. I MISS MY TRIPOD!!!!! Doing stuff like this handheld sucks!, and thus this pic sucks! Bleh!

Ok, Theres no way its already after midnight but ok here it is, todays crappy pic, I was trying some DOF stuff with this fishing lure, and just couldnt quite get what I wanted for an effect, all I did was hang it off a window screen and assist the lighting a bit with the flash bounced off the ceiling...hmmmm....
