Ok, another view of the deck, got to love these nice warm spring days, no bugs yet, but 60's and 70's with good breezes, ahhhhh :)

April 20th

Just Playing around with DOF and some screwdrivers on my decks railing, interesting, but hey, its a nice day out, and gave me an exscuse to sit out on the deck. Heh heh heh :)

Do you have reservations?

Speaking of development, this is one of the new hotels, about 80 rooms, due to open in like 6 weeks, its part of the Hampton Inn chain, also going to have a water park, but I'm not sure how thats coming, so far no signs of it....

Sign of the valley

The growth around here is happening way too quick lately, seems everyone with any commerical land is either building on it, or trying to sell it to someone who will. Among the things planned for the next 6-18 months, a 3rd supermarket, 200+ new hotel rooms, 2 more shopping and retail centers, a new bookstore (Thank God!!!!) and some more chain restaurants (Hopefully a Dennys, or IHOP!!!!)

Spring has Sprung!!!

Woot!!! finally Spring flowers, about time!!!! Love these little yellow flowers, there on some kind of bush small tree thingy, come out every year, I think they're about the first ones each year too!!!

Anyone not see this coming??? LOL, another holiday, so of course Mr. Greenbear had to make an appearance!
One other good thing that can be said is that I have an interview this week, on Friday for a job I applied for last week, so maybe things will start to look up soon!!!!!

Rushed Peep!

Yep, it's Easter weekend, big deal. Here we have a peep, notice I have avoided the traditional color of yellow in favor of a more modern blue. I MISS MY TRIPOD!!!!! Doing stuff like this handheld sucks!, and thus this pic sucks! Bleh!

What?!?!? Midnight, how can it be that late?

Ok, Theres no way its already after midnight but ok here it is, todays crappy pic, I was trying some DOF stuff with this fishing lure, and just couldnt quite get what I wanted for an effect, all I did was hang it off a window screen and assist the lighting a bit with the flash bounced off the ceiling...hmmmm....

"Art Collection"

Yep, airburshed license plates, what every redneck needs a few of, these are ones my wife and I got done at the local fair one was our 1st wedding date, but that got changed, so the next year we got the actual date! I love airburshing, I just dont have anywhere near enough talent to even contemplate trying it!

Literature?

Ok, maybe calling it literature is pushing it a bit, definitely not in the same league as Hemingway and Faulkner, but still a great way to pass the time, which lately I seem to have lots of This is just a sampling of my "library" which I should really start listing on Ebay before they take over every spare inch of space around this place....

New Addiction.

Being a fan of computer games since playing Bard Tale on the Apple IIe way back in the 80's, everynow and then I find myself stumbling across a new game that will totally hook me, too the point that I spend almost every spare minute playing it. This is "Dogs of the Seas" DOTS for short, OMG, its a pirate mmorpg (massively multiplayer online role playing game) that is incredibly detailed and staffed by some of the best support staff i've ever found in an online game, amazing game in a family safe mature environment, and I am hooked, hard! Fresh is Better!

If your a cat, having a bowl of fresh water is good, but getting it fresh from the tap is AWESOME, as demonstrated here by Sunshine. She is such a water kitty, constantly drinkin' or playin' in it, pretty much the only one of my bunch who is too. Usually I shut the faucet off, but somehow this time it got left dripping, and 'Shine quickly seized the opportunity!

Happiness is...

An Open window on a spring day, after a winter of closed windows!!! At least if your a cat like Thomas it is, here we have one of two windows in the kitchen over the sink, one of their favorite windows!

Another dreary day in the Valley, ickkk! After watching the comedy networks Carlos Mencia last night, in which he did a hilarious spoof of 7-11, I decided to post out local 7-11, owned and operated by Khalid. For those of you who have not seen the "Mind of Mencia" show on the Comedy Network check it out, hilarious show, but definitely not for those under 18.

Once again, I fall victim to the crappy cloudy almost bright, but not quiet days of a NH spring, BLEH!. To help cure the Blehs, we have here the best food and drink in the valley, HOOLIGANS, a true locals place, somewhere that does absoultely NO advertising, and doesnt need too, best food and drink in the town, my recommendations, Frozen Mudslides made with Stoli Vanilla Vodka, Chicken quesadillas, fish and chips, and for desert some of that chocolate madness!! Woot, a cure for the spring blehs!

Thursday

Hmm, a possible of the return of color, also know as spring, here in the mountains, in the spring, which is usually known as mud season (except this year) we have sooo little color, grey skies most of the time, that any positive sign like this is to reveled in!

Yep, had about 2" of snow yesterday, turned to rain and fog today, now its almost gone, been 40+ F all day, was 70 a couple of days ago, typical spring around here, jsut due to the lack of snow cover, there hasnt been much mud!!!

Still not gone, heh heh heh!

Munchkin

Yep, another cat pic, this time mama cat (munchkin) looking very nice for the camera, she is quite the boss over her kids too, has the fastest claws in the house (BIFF!) She's also "my" cat, despite being a gift to my wife from me when she was a kitten. She will (when I let her) sleep on the small of my back at night, great heat and massage/purr's!

I hate midafternoon light!

As you can see, taken at like 330pm, no clouds, grrr, seems the light has washed out most of the colors, SIGHHHH.... Ok, I will be going back to shoot this one, soon, maybe later in the week, at an earlier hour of the day, perhaps 10am, open to suggestions here.

One nice thing about the clear sky, it did allow me to get some pics of nothing but blue sky, why you ask? Why for background skies to be PS'd into other pics! :-)

Oh, you might also notice if you look at the bottom left that I can now sign my photo's in PS WOOT!!! this is awesome, anyone who wants to know how to do this, just ask!

TonyV, in reference to the christmas lights in the kitchen, well actually the whole house, as a true redneck, I leave em up all year round, heck I just shut them off about 3 weeks ago!

Ok, where to start...
The above picture is my entry in Popular Photography magazine's 2006 Digital Wizard Contest Deadline was 31 March, so its safe to post it here now, they will be notifiying the winners on or about 10 May, and the winners get cash prizes of up to $1000 and published in July's Issue. Ok, and being that today marks another month gone, we are now 3/12 done with this years Pad!!! Ackkk!!! I forgot to post!

Thats right, I've been doing some spring cleaning here as its gotten into the 60's and 70ish the last day or two and its kicked my butt! LOL! Was so beat tonight that I crashed out about 9 o'clock and totally forgot to post, sorry folks but here it is! As you can see, I'm up nice and early this morning, not sure going to bed accomplished anything, but it felt good!
